This article give the procedures of How to use SKP1000 to program remote key.The method also adapt to Chrysler and Dodge.Jeep Wrangler key is Remote Straight Key with 2 buttons and 46 chip,and the remote function will generate automatically after chip programming.It is easy to use SKP1000 program key for Jeep Wrangler.
The procedures of programming key for Jeep Wrangler by SKP1000:
Step 1:Connect the SKP1000 Key programmer to OBD2 socket of Jeep Wrangler.
The OBD2 socket is located in driver side under the steering wheel and near the gas pedal.
Step 2:Enter the SKP1000 menu to select “Key Program”-->Select “Immobilizer System”(Remote Straight Key).Then you will find 3 options:
*1 “Add Key”
*2 ”Delete Key”
*3” Read pin code”
Here you want perform “Add Key” function,it need pin code.But the “Delete Key” does not.
Read pin code,record it.
Insert the new key to ignition and turn to “ON” position,click “YES” to continue.
Enter the pin code,read below.If you want to add next key,just repeat the procedures.
